SOFTWARE PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN VACANCY

This role places you at the core of our software production ecosystem. As a Software Production Technician, you’ll contribute to the development, maintenance, and validation of internal tools and processes that support the delivery of high-performance space systems.

Your mission
You’ll be part of the production team, ensuring that software tools, scripts, and processes are robust, maintainable, and aligned with SATLANTIS standards. Your work will help streamline operations, improve efficiency, and guarantee software quality across projects.
You main responsibilities will be:
- Refactor existing bash scripts to improve abstraction, readability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal tools.
- Create, update, and maintain clear and comprehensive process documentation.
- Validate software quality through unit and integration testing.
What will set you up for success
- Technical foundation: You hold a technical degree in Web Development, Multiplatform Application Development, or System Administration.
- Basic domain knowledge: Familiarity with telemetry concepts and electronic terminology.
- Analytical thinking: You approach problems methodically and enjoy improving processes and tools.
- Team spirit: You collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
What will take you further?
- Knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose.
- Solid experience with bash scripting.
- Experience in unit testing (regardless of programming language).
- Experience with mocking and integration testing.
- Programming experience in Python (3.10 or higher) and/or JavaScript.
