HORACIO's LAUNCH LIVE BROADCAST

HORACIO MISSION

On March 4th2024, at 23:05 (CET), our satellite HORACIO has been successfully launched from the Space Launch Complex at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, with the Transporter-10 mission onboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, a rideshare of satellites to a Sun Synchronous Orbit.

HORACIO represents SATLANTIS’ sixth mission and third end-to-end solution for multiple EO applications – ranging from infrastructure monitoring, methane gas emissions quantification, food security, coastal and border awareness, among others.

The satellite is a 16U CubeSat providing simultaneous coverage in the visible and near-infrared spectra (VNIR and SWIR).

The heart of the mission is SATLANTIS’ proprietary iSIM-90 optical instrument, a small camera capable of providing  High-Resolution Visible and Infrared images for Earth Observation.
