SATLANTIS is looking for a remote sensing specialist to contribute to the satellite image processing pipelines.
The selected candidate will work with images and other geo-data, developing and improving processes and supporting the semi-automatic preparation of reports.
She/he will be part of the image processing team, bringing their experience in image processing, with the opportunity to learn and contribute to current and future satellite missions, from design to commissioning and operational phases.
Specific tasks:
- Development of satellite image processing pipelines.
- Design and maintenance of databases.
- Preparation of reports and documentation for processing systems.
- Skills and experience
Requirements for the position:
- Degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences or Engineering.
- Master in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems.
- Knowledge of Python, including Numpy, Scipy, and Scikit-Image.
- Experience in database development and management.
- Problem-solving, communication skills, and team spirit.
- B2 English level.
