What we are looking for
SATLANTIS is looking for an Optical AIV Engineer for its optical team, mainly focused on AIV and characterization of the optical payloads.
The specific tasks will include:
- AIV and characterization of optical payloads following established procedures.
- Collaboration in the development and upgrade of the optical AIV procedures.
- Collaboration in the design of the laboratory setups for AIV and optical characterization.
- Participation in the management of ISO5 & ISO6 clean rooms.
- Technical documentation and reporting.
- Support to Business Development and Projects in optical related activities.
Skills and experience
- A deep passion for technology and thorough work.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Optical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- More than 2 years of experience in AIV of optical elements in visible range.
- Knowledge of Zemax, or/and experience using other similar software to improve/adapt laboratory setups.
- Experience working in a strict clean room environment.
- International and multidisciplinary work team experience.
- Versatility and creativity.
- Social skills.
- English (negotiation level).
Preferred
- Experience in AIV of diffraction limited optics.
- Experience in IR optics.
- Experience using Zemax.
- Experience in optics design.
- Spanish (negotiation level).
